General Discussion • What is currently the best way to handle weather and location codes?

Every time I come back to Rainmeter, Yahoo has changed their API again and now half the skins don't work anymore. I'm still hanging on to the Enigma suite and my weather skins have stopped working again so now I have to figure out why (again).

Apologies if this is an FAQ or is otherwise clearly documented somewhere, but what is the best way to handle weather codes and location codes in your skins? And who is currently the best provider of the codes?
