Help: Rainmeter Skins • Chameleon + Lua

Hi! I was wondering if someone has an example of a skin with Chameleon getting colors from the wallpaper, then sending the colors to LUA, LUA doing something simple with the colors to manipulate them, then sending the colors back to the skin.

I am not great with LUA and I am not having a lot of luck getting the colors back into the skin.

Is there a simple example that exists I could tinker with?
